Industry Minister, Senator Kim Carr, and over 250 invited guests recognised the best of Australian manufacturing at a gala awards dinner held in Sydney last night, with Melbourne-based Marand Precision Engineering competing against a strong field to take out the awards of 2008 Manufacturer of the Year, Exporter of the Year, the 2008 Global Integration Award plus a Highly Commended in the Technology Application category.
